<br />• Present were Clarence J. Oviatt, Mayor, E. Baum.gardner., Fred Hatton.,
<br />Wm. H. Kramer, Dr. C. B. Lewis, Roger Paddock, B. F. Scott. The minutes of August 15, 1950 and August 29, 1950 were approved as read.

<br />It was moved and seconded that Bob Cutler be granted permission to erect 12
<br />1114EELCOiM TO TJORTH OLM.iTED11 Signs with his advertisement at the bottom,
<br />signs to be put up at the entrance of streets coming into North Olmsted.

<br />Resolution #166$'was introduced by 14r. Baumgardner. A Resolution authorizing
<br />the Mayor and Clerk to enter into a contract with Robert Cutler,.doing busi-
<br />ness as Bob Cutler Signs, for the placing of paper and rubbish disposals on
<br />the streets in the Village of TJorth Olmsted. It was rroved and seconded that
<br />the statutory rule be suspended and the Resolution be read immediately the
<br />second and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said
<br />motion was as follows: Baumgardner, Hatton, Kramer, Lewis, Paddock, Scott.
<br />Thereupon the Resolution was read the second and third times and put upon
<br />its passage, and the affirma.tive vote thereon was as follovrs: Baumgardner,
<br />Hatton, Kramer., Lewis, Paddock., Scott.
<br />Mr. Scott made the following report:
<br />Garage LEO x 60 to house equipment - tlpproximate Cost ?16,000.00
<br />Park toilet facilities,lrick building,
<br />septic tank, seepage bed, water, - Approximate Cost 26,000.00
<br />It was rmved and seconded that the Clerk be authorized to purchase a used
<br />refrigerator for-the Fire Department in the amount of $20.00. 'tYeastl

<br />The Mayor read a communication from Fred Greene, representing the Metropolitan
<br />Park Board, regardino raw sewage coming through the Elm Road sewer, and empty-
<br />ing into Park Board property at Shepherdts hill. It was moved and seconded
<br />that the Clerk be instructed to reply to.this letter. "Yeas" Baumgardner,
<br />Hatton, Kramer, Lewis, Paddock, Scott.
<br />I?Ir. Baurr4,ardner reported that the bus drivers had accepted the 12¢ an hour
<br />wage increase, and agreed to the vacation set-up...
<br />It was mved and seconded that Drs. Castle, Ramsay, Castle and'Associates
<br />examine bus drivers at $4.00 per examination. "Yeas" Baumgardner, Hatton,
<br />Kramer,, Lewis, Paddock, Scott.
<br />I. A. Bidwell, Superintendent of Maintenance, r equested that Bus #54 be re-
<br />paired on account of the critical condition of materials.
<br />Resolution #1669 was introduced by 14r. Bawngardner. A Resolution accepting
<br />the bid of Cleveland-Commercial Auto Body Company for repairing Bus #54
<br />of the North Olmsted P4unicipal Bus I,ine. It was moved and seconded that the
<br />statutory rule be suspended and the Resolution_be read immediately the
<br />second and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said
<br />motion was as fo llows: Baumgardner, Hatton, Kramer, Lewis, Paddock, Scott.
<br />Thereupon the Resolution was read the second and third ti.mes and put upon
<br />its passage, and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Baum;ardner,
<br />Hatton, Kramer, Lewis, Paddock, Scott.
<br />According to advertisement in Suburban I?Tews? the followi.no bids were received
<br />for a water raain in Gladland Avenue: -
