<br />NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO
<br />Present were Clarence J. Oviatt, Mayor, Es, Baum,gardner, Fred Hatton, Wm. H.
<br />Kramer, Dr. C. B. Lewis, Roger Paddock, B. F. Scott.:
<br />The minutes of July lgth were read and approved. _
<br />Mayor Aelfs of Parkview wa.s present at the meeting in connection with getting
<br />Brookpark Road extended to relieve some of the other roads of the heavy truck
<br />traffic, and wanted to know if North Olmsted would go along in passing an
<br />ordinance to prohibit trucks on Temporary Route 17. .
<br />Ordinance #834 was introduced by Dr. Lewis. An Ordinance prohibiting.through
<br />trucks from driying on Temporary State Route #17 within the Village of North
<br />Olmsted, Ohio. It was moved and seconded that the statutory rule be snspended
<br />and the Ordinance be read immediately the second and third times and put on
<br />its passage, The affirmative wte"on said mption was as follows: Baumgardner., x
<br />Hatton, Kramer, Lewis, Paddock,,Scott. Thereupon the Ordinance was read the
<br />second and th?rd`times and put upon its passage and the affirmative wte thereon
<br />was as follows; Baumgardners Hatton., Kramer, Lewis, Paddock, Scott.

<br />yor appointed the following committee to go to Columbus about prohibiting
<br />truclc"s,on Butternut Ridge and to see what can be done about.getting Brookpark '
<br />Road extended: Superintendent of Schools, President of Kiwanis, President of
<br />North Olmted PTA, President of North Olmsted Woraants Club, President oP
<br />North 0lmsted Businessmen's Club. .
<br />Ordinance #835 was introduced by Mr. Baumgardner. An Ordinance giving consent
<br />af the Village of North Olmsted to t he improvement of Butternut Ridge Roa.d by
<br />graciing roadway approximately as shown on'attached typical section. It was moved
<br />and seconded that the statutory rule be suspended and the Ordinance be read imme-
<br />diately the second and third times and put on its passage. The affirm,ative vote
<br />on said motion was as follows: Baumgardner, Hatton, Kramer, Lewis, Paddock,
<br />Scotte Thereupon the Ordinance was read the second and third times and put
<br />ulon its passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Bauaagardner,
<br />Hattons Kramer, Lewis, Paddock, Scott.
<br />It was suggested that a"danger" warning sign be posted at Bodecker Hill.
<br />Mr. Scott, Chairm,an of Building and Grounds, suggested a 40 x 60 building to
<br />hou3e?k??ent at the park. He also reported that the toilet facilities at
<br />the pa were in bad shape, and the cottunittee selected a new spot for tbilet:.facil- ?
<br />ities;. The Engineer estimated that a new septic tank and seepage bed wuuld
<br />cost apPrOximately $20,000.000
<br />_ su• Scott also reported that the gutters on the Town Ha]1 were in bad shape and
<br />Sgested getting estimates on new gutters. _
<br />Mro Baumgardner reported that we now have only two busses on order, and that
<br />the new price is $15,518.30 each.
<br />Resolution #1659 was introduced Mr. l

<br />that the statutory rule be suspended and the Resolution be read imQnediately the

<br />Thereupon the Resolution was read the second and third times and put upon its

<br />Dr• Dube of Root Road., and some of the neighbors were'present. They ob3ected to
<br />dauble residences on Root Noad, and said-ar?yone building doubles should be
