<br />It was mved and seconded that the contract for B. I. and P. D. insurancQ be
<br />awarded to Hartford Accident and Indemnity Company, being the low hidder.

<br />Resolution #171$ was introduced by Dr. Lewis. A Resolution acceptin; the bid
<br />of Hartford Accident and Indemnity Company. It was moved and seconded that the
<br />statutory rule be suspended and the Resolution be reac! 3.:nmedi.ate],y the second
<br />and'third"tirces and put on its passage. The affirmative wte on said moti-on
<br />was as follows: Baumgardner, Hatton, Kraraer, Lewis, Paddock, Scott. Thereupon
<br />the Resolution was read the second and third times and put upon its passage, and
<br />the affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Baumgardner,.Hatton, Kramer, Lewis,

<br />Resolution #1719 was introduced by Mr. Baum;ardner. A Resolution accepting the
<br />bid of Freer, Heene & Wasson. It was mAVed and seconded that the statutory rule

<br />Mr. Kramer, Chairman of the Finance Comrnittee'reported that about $8,000.00 would
<br />be available for surface treatin; various streets.
<br />It was moved and seconded that the Clerk be authorized to advertise for bids for

<br />Mr. Kramer, Chairman of the Finance Cotnmittee stated that a joint mesting of the
<br />Finance and Transportation Comm3.ttees was held and at this time they do not recom-
<br />mend an incxease in the Bus Drivers ! hourl.,y rate,
<br />`Phe Mayor requested Ray Cowley to notify al1 Bus Drivers to attend a meeting
<br />with the Council on February 27, 19510
<br />The Mayor advised`that the traffic signal at lScKenzie and Lorain Roads was now
<br />in operation.: ,
<br />The Mayor said that ?roctar Noyes, Director of the Regional Planning Corrunission
<br />would mePt with the Council on Niarch 20, 1951.
<br />The Mayar read a cormnunication from Bay Vi11a?e, stating that Bay Village had
<br />passed an ordinsnce regula.ting truck traffic, whereby there must be 300 feet be-
<br />tween trucks, and requested North Olmsted to cooperate.
<br />Ordinance #870,was introduced by rSr. Baurcgardner. An ordinance regul.ating truck
<br />traffic. The ordinance was given its first reading.
<br />The Engineer reported that 61 feet of the box cul.vert on Clague Road between
<br />Clifford and Marion had caved in on the Reesing property. The Solicitor explained
<br />the Village's position in this matter and stated.an:easement would be"'signed.
<br />'Mr. Nslson Miller wanted to ?mow what siza crock would be rzquired to close in '
<br />the ditch running through his property. The matter wa3 referred to the Engineer.
<br />The following moneys were received:- 610006.50 Bus Receipts; $552.00 Cleveland
<br />WatQr Dept; $60,00 Street Openings.
