<br />MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE COLT14CIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
<br />NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO.
<br />Present were Clarence J. Oviatt, Mayor, E. Baumgardner, Fred Hattonp
<br />Wm. H. Kramer, Dr. C. B. I,ewi.s, Roger Paddock. B. F. Scott was absent.
<br />The minutes of June 20th and June 26th were read and approved.
<br />Resolution #1652 was introduced by Mr. Kramer. A Resolution accepting the
<br />bid of Gledhil]. Road Machinery Company for furnishin; a road grader, Araerican
<br />#6, with 10-foot mold board, leaning front wheel, front end loader, scarifier,
<br />lights, front and rear, for .the s,xm of $4376.35. It was moved and seconded
<br />that the statutory rule be suspended and the Resolution be read immediately
<br />the second and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on
<br />said motion•was as follows: Baumgardner, Hatton, Kramar, Lewi.s, Paddock,
<br />Thereupon the Resolution was read the second and third tines and put upon
<br />its passage and the affirmative vote was as follows: Baumgardner, Hatton,
<br />Kramer, Lewis, Paddock.
<br />NIr. Kramer requested that action be taken to take the trucks off Columbia
<br />Road, and also wa.nted to krnow what was being cbne about the extension of Brook-
<br />park Road. It was suggested that the Ford Motor Company and General Motors
<br />Might be of assistance in gettirig it extended.
<br />1''r• Jim Yielding of the Cleveland Electric Illumi.nating Compar?y submitted astreet lighting plan covering the following streets: Marion, Clifford,
<br />Frank, Alexander,, Burns, E1m, Summerland, Virginia, McBeth, East Park,* Lucydale.,
<br />Andrus, Whitethorn, the Boulevard, Grace and Lucille. The matter was referred
<br />to the Utilities Committee.
<br />M-r. Baumgardner stated that the,toilet facilities in the park were in bad
<br />condition.
<br />It was r.ioved and seconded that 150 passes for playground children be issued ta
<br />the Recreation ComJnittee. "Yeas" Baumgardner, Hatton, Kramer, Lewis, Paddock.
<br />It was moved and seconded that the Clerk be instructed to buy a'gun for
<br />Patrolman Adams. "Yeas" Baumgardner, Hatton, Kramer, Lewis, Paddock.
<br />It was rnoved and seconded that the Clerk advertise for bids for the Dover
<br />Road water main. "Yeas" Baumgardner, Hatton., Kramer, Lewis, Paddock.
<br />The Engi,neer reported that 83.5% of the frontage had been signed for a water
<br />main on Wal.ter Hoad, north of Maple ftidge.
<br />The Lngineer also reported that 74% of the frontaoe had been signed for a
<br />water main on Root Road. -
<br />The Engineer further reported that the estimated cost of a water main on
<br />McICenzie Road from the south line of John and Mary Maruschak's property to
<br />the north line of Grace Mason's property was $5.21155 per foot.
<br />A Petit3 on for water on Flehearty Road was receivsd. It was 2mved and
<br />seconded that the petition be referred to the Engi.neer. "Yeas" Baumgardner,

<br />Resolution #1653 was introduced by Dr. Lewis. A Resolution directin? the
<br />Clerk to submit the annual budget to the County Auditor as required by
<br />Section 5625-2.2 of the General Code of the State of Ohio. It was moved and
<br />seconded that the above resolution be adopted as read. "Yeas" Baumeardner,
<br />Hattonp Kramer, I,ewis, Paddock.
