<br />It was moved and seconded that the Clerk be instrt:cted to have the Cleveland
<br />Water Department repair hydrants at 25321 and 2704$ Lorain Road. "Yeas"

<br />The Mayor referred to the Building and Grounds Committee for consideration, the
<br />matter of a buildint; to house the grader and other equipment.
<br />It was moved and seconded that the Clerk be instructed to buy two pairs of boots
<br />for the Service Department. "Yeas1T Baumgardner, Hatton, Kramer, Lewis, Paddock,
<br />Scott.
<br />The matter of spraying the park w as also referred to the Building and Grounds
<br />Committee by the Mayor.
<br />It was moved and seconded that the riayor be authorized to send a recexpt and .
<br />release to Cudahy Facking Company in the amount of $172.419 fbr payment of a

<br />It was moved and seconded that the Council approve payment of $30.00 by the
<br />Courity to reimburse Mr. Ben Salisburj for a sheep killed by a dog. "Yeasrr

<br />• Resolution #1638 was introduced by Mr. Baumgardner. A Resolution declaring
<br />a.mount of taxes that may be raised by levy at the maximum rate.authorized by
<br />Iaw ivithout a vote of the electors to be insufficient and declaring the neces-
<br />sity of a levy in excess of such rate. It was moved and seconded that the
<br />' statutory rule be suspended and the resolution be read iLnmediately the second
<br />and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative wte on said motion
<br />'was as follows: Daumgardner, Hattan, Kramer, Lewis, Paddock, Scott. There-
<br />upon the resolution was read the second and third tirses and put upon:'_its pas-

<br />Resolution #1639 was introduced by Mr. Kramer. A Resolution authorizing the
<br />Clerk to pay to William Cook, Building Inspector, two weeks' vacation pay.
<br />It was moved and seconded that the statutory, ru1.e be suspended and the Resolu-
<br />tion be read imnediatel,y the second and third times and put on its passage.
