<br />Present were Clarence J. Oviatt, Mayor, E. Baumgardner, Fred Crider, Fred Hatton,
<br />Win. H. Kramer, Roger Paddock, B. Scott.
<br />The minutes of May 2, 1950 wsre read and approved.
<br />A motion was made by Mr. Baumgardner, and seconded by Mr. Kramer, that the
<br />lesignation of UJilliam H. Cook be accepted. "Yeas" Baumgardner, Crider., Hatton,
<br />ramsr, Paddock, Scott.
<br />Roger Paddock read a coaanunication fmn the School Board, in regard to sidewalks
<br />on Dover Center Road between Lorain Road and Butternut Ridget stating that
<br />the School Board did not want'to initiate a:petition.' The matter was referred
<br />to the Sidewalk Committee. ,
<br />It was moved and seconded that the Clerk be inatructed.tv purchase thirty bus

<br />. Resolution #1633 was introduced by* Mr. Baumgardner. A Resolution employing
<br />Charles Best as Superintendent of Operation of the Narth Olinsted Municipal
<br />Bus Lirie. It was moved and secondod that the statutory rule be suspended and the resolution be read immediately the second an d t hird times and put on its
<br />pa4sage. The affirmative vnte on sai.d motion was as follows: Batamgardner,, Crider,
<br />Hatton, Kramer, Paddock, Scott. Thereupon the resolution was read the second and
<br />third times and put upon its passage and the affirmative vnte was as follows:

<br />ResoZution #1634 was introduced by Mr. Kramer. A Resolut3on employ3.n? Irwin -
<br />Bidwell as Superintendent of Maintenarice af the North Olmsted Municipa.l Bus
<br />Line. It was mAVed and seconded that the statutory rule be suspended and the •
<br />resolution be read immediately the second and third times and put on its passage.

<br />Mr. Baumgardner, Chairman of the Recreation Co.mmission requested that two new
<br />light poles (1-501 and 1-601) be installed at the Soft Ba11. Diamnd in the Park to replace two poles in.bad condition. It was moved and seconded that the
<br />MaYor and Clerk be instructed to purchase two.poles. "Ysas" Baumgardner, Crider,
<br />Hatton, Kramer, Paddock, Scott.
<br />A motion was made and seconded authorizin; the Clerk to have the City Water-
<br />Department install a meter vault with 3/4'' connection at 3000 Clague Road - the

<br />It was moved and seconded that the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to pzzrchase--
<br />2001 of Heavy 211 wire mesh 61 wide for the Tennis Court= ?

<br />A motion was made and seconded that the Service Department be instructed to ?
<br />erect a snow fence atong the north line of the Recreation Field -- Otto Schmidt's

<br />`The matter of letting the Concession Stand at the Park was discussed. By mutual
<br />consent of all parties concerned, it was agreed that Mr. Deel and Florence Culp
<br />and A11ene Baker submit s`firm bid. The firm bids submitted were as follows: i
