Hatton, Wm. H. Kramer, R. Paddock, B. Scott. <br />The minutes of March 7th and 14th were read and approved. <br />F <br />? <br />Comtnunication was read from the State Highvlay Dept, stating <br />that the State tirould pave Butternut Ridge, but the cost of <br />draining the road estimated at $112000.00 would have to be <br />born one-half by the Village and the other one-half by the <br />County Comnissioners. ., <br />Ordinance -#r803 was introduced by 1111r. Crider. An Ordinance <br />prohibiting through trucks from driving on Butternut Ridge <br />Road between ColulnUia Road and Lorain Road. 11oved and <br />seconded thAt the statutory rule.be suspended and the Ordin- <br />ance be read imr.iediately the second and third times and put <br />on its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as <br />follovrs., Baum.gardner, Crider, Hatton, Kramer, Paddock, Scott. <br />Thereupon the Ordinance vias read the second and third times <br />and put.upon its passage and_the affirmative vote thereon <br />was as -follovrs., Bau.-ngardner, Crider, Hatton, Kramer, Paddock, <br />Scott. <br />Ordinance #804 was introduced•by Iv7r. Crider. An Ordinance <br />prohibiting throu&h trucks from driving on Clague Road <br />betvreen Mastick Road and the northerly Village limits. <br />Moved and,seconded that the statutory rule be suspended <br />and the Ordinance be read immediately the second and third <br />r times and put on its passage. Biodas 28412 Lorain Road had <br />applied for a D-3 and D-2 Liquor permit, inasmuch as the <br />State Law has been changed to permit beer and liquor to <br />be sold within 500 feet instead of 1000 feet from a Church, <br />Park or School. <br />" . Petition for water on Gladland Ave was received and referred <br />to the Engineer. ? <br />Public hearing was held on the changing from residence to <br />retail business on the "Loser" property. Hamel of the Standard Oil Co., explained about his bid, <br />and P?1ir. Durecke of the Gulf Refinging Co., ' explained about <br />the Gulf Oil Co., bid. <br />:t4r. Hatton stated that'the Planning Commission recommended <br />` that the request of Marie Cook and E.' T. 11ayer 6122 Stearns <br />Road to change their property fron residence to business be <br />refused. Mr. Bowans request at Clague and Lorain was tabled <br />for more detailed description. Mrs. Joeckents request at <br />Lorain & Clague was tabled untilT her return. : The following <br />requests were refused, Mr. F. Schneider at 24535 Zorain Road.
