<br />Minutes of a meetinu- of the Council of the
<br />Village of North Glmsted, Ohio.
<br />? Present were Clarence J. Oviatt, IVlayor, E. Baumgardner,
<br />i F. Crider, F. Hatton, VJm. H. Kramer, R. Paddock, B. Scott.
<br />The minutes of Feb. 7th and 14th were read and approved.
<br />f T1ir. Hatton, Chairman of the Planning Gommission reported that
<br />the PlanninL Cox.=ission recommended the following,- That
<br />ydm. H. Kramer's property at 24485 Lorain Road be chanEed,fron,
<br />residence to retail business. 1,11r. Naderls request be tabled

<br />€ Mr.,J. A. Neuhauserts request for change at:Silverdale and
<br />Lorain Roads,be turned down. Dan Romp+ s frontabe on Lorain

<br />Crider,_Chairman of,the Ditch Cor?unittee reported that the
<br />sidetitialk on Lorain Road west of Barton Road is tilted, and tnat
<br />a retaining wall should be built at the large culvert and fill
<br />, dirt around the small culvert._.The matter was referred to the
<br />EnFineer. " _ .
<br />The Mayor appointed S. L. Hopperstead to the Recreation Comniittee
<br />to fill the unexpired term if Ray Fielt. Moved and seconded the

<br />Resolution #1609 tivas introduced by Mr..;Kramer. A 'Resolution
<br />conf irming appointinent of : Howard` Adams as Extra Deputy iiiarshal.

<br />The r.:ayor requested the Street Comrnittee to `investigate buying
<br />a sump pump, and the-Sidewalk-Committee to investigate the .
<br />possibilities of buying 1001 of steel forms for sic:ewalks.
<br />The Engineer reported that 69.95?4, of the porperty owners had
<br />eicned the petition for water on North Porter Road from Lorain
<br />Road to the north line of the property of S. Scherrer.
<br />' T,?oved and seconded that the En€inesr be instructed ta prepare
<br />plans and specifications for a water line on Porter Road from
<br />Lorain Road to the north line of property ovrned by S. Scherrer.

<br />Resolution #1610 vras introduced by 1.r. Baumf;ardner. A Resolution
<br />' declarin- it necessary to improve Silverdale Road fror.i the north
<br />line of Sublot 7129 to the end of the street by constructing
<br />therein a water main. 11oved and secorzded that-the statutory
<br />rule be suspended and the resolution be read im.ediately the
<br />second and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative
<br />vote on said motion vras as follovrs., Baumgardner, Crider, Hatton,
<br />Kramer, Paddock, Scott. Thereupon the?resolution was read
<br />the second and third times and put upon its passage and the affirm- °
<br />ative vote thereon was as follows., Baumgardner, Crider, Hatton,
<br />Kramer, Paddock, Scott. .
<br />Ordinance #789 v-ias read the third time and on the adoption
<br />the following voted "Yeat' 8aurngardner, Gricler, Hatton, Kramer,
