<br />Resolution r2168 was intraduced by I4r. Kramer. A Resolution declaring the neces-
<br />sity of issuing bonds, City of North Olmstec3, Ohio, principal aznount of $140,000.00,
<br />, for theerection of two fire houses, and fixing the approximate date, interest rate
<br />and maturitys-and declaring the necessity of the levy oY a tax outside of the limita-
<br />tion imposed by Article 12, Section 2 of the Constitution of Ohio to pay the interest
<br />of and retire such bonds. It was moved and seconded tha,t the statutory rule be suspended and the Resolution be read isnr.iediately the second and third times and .
<br />? put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as follows: Baker,
<br />Crider, Decker, Knapp, Kramer, Schwenk. Thereupon the Resolution was read the
<br />second and third times and put upon its passage and the affirmative vote thereon

<br />The Mayor proclaimed July 12, 1955 "BLOOD ASOBILE DAY" in the City of iJorth Olmsted.
<br />He read a notice sent out by jTestchester Estates to all the residents of Westchester
<br />Drive and Olrasted Drive regarding the road improvement program.
<br />The Mayor advised that on thetn'eisltittel- City of North Olmsted suit on the rezong
<br />of the Ackerer property, the court ruled this was not spot zoning, just extending
<br />the present retail business frontage.
<br />The Mayor stated that a comnunication had been received fran three residents on
<br />the south side of Butternut Ridge Rd. 3ust west of Dover Road across frcm the
<br />School 3n Vrhich they ccanplained about the condition of public property fronting
<br />their properties. The solution to the prable,m would be to black-top this area on
<br />both sides of the street. The Engin.eer is to check into the cost of this. Then the
<br />School Board will be contacted to see if they will be abreeable to paving the south
<br />side,

<br />Resolution #2169 was introduced by Mr.Deckero A Resolution dstermining to proceed
<br />with the election of t he que5tion of the issuar:ce of bonds in the sum of $156,000.00 ;
<br />for the erection of amunicipal swim-ning pool. ° It was moved arui seconded that the ;
<br />statutory rule be suspended and the Resolution be read ar.m:ediately the second and i
<br />third times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said mot3.on was as folZoVrsc

<br />A motion was made by Mr. Knapp and seconded by Mr. Sctnaenk that the vote be recon- !

<br />Thereupon it was moved by 24r. Schwenlt and seconded by t4r. Crider that Resolution

<br />Ordinance #2170 was introduced by P2r. Baker, An Ordinance to amend the Zone Map and
<br />zoning Ordinance of the City of IJorth Olmsted, Ohio by changing frcm an AA Residence
<br />District to a Retail Business District, parcels of land on Dover Center Road north
<br />of Lorain Road and adjoining the present retail business district north cf sa.i.d ? Lorain Road. The ordinance was given its first reading only.
