<br />Resolution #2490 was'introduced by Mr. Kna,pp. -A Resolution requesting ths •
<br />State Highway Department to'resurface-Lorain"Road, its entire'length,' in tYie` -
<br />City of North Olmsted: It was•moved and seconded`that the'above Resolutiori be `
<br />adopted as read. "Yeas" Baker, Crider, Decker, Kna,pp, Kramer, Neubauer, Schwenk.
<br />A comunication was read fram the Building Commissioner`recomending the following
<br />three prnjects:
<br />. l. The replacing with a concrete culvert pipe of size deemed sufficient .
<br />by the City Engineer of the Existing tile under Mapleridge Road of
<br />the storm ditch section known as the Coe Lateral.
<br />2. The replacing oY damaged 24" clay tile in the Root Ditch under Decker
<br />I3oad with a tile of size deemed sufficient by the City Engineer, and
<br />further, that a storm sewer be installed upon Decker Road by action
<br />of Council. ` . _
<br />3. 3'hat the existing tile under Lorain Road in the ditch cross3ng Lorain
<br />Road at the properties of C. L. Behrendt and F. E. Furin be either
<br />enlarged or added to in area.
<br />A motion was made by Mr. Schwenk and seconded by'Mr. Crider that the above matter be referred to the Engineer for estimated.
<br />The Engineer reported that the est3mate on Item 2 for replacing the tile on
<br />Decker Road-would be $5.00 per foot and without petition the cities portion
<br />would be $1,800.00. . Moved by Mr. Sehwenk and seconded by Mr. Decker that the Sersrice Director re-•
<br />advertise for a Comfort Station for the•Clague Road Playground. "Yeas" Baker,
<br />Crider, Decker, Knapp, Kramer,.Neubauer, Schwenk.'
<br />Ordinance #2085 was given its second reading and moved by Mr. Schwenk and
<br />seconded by Mr. Baker.that the statutory rule be suspended and the Ordinance
<br />' be read the third and Pinal time., and the vote on said motion was as follows:
<br />"Nays"'Baker., Crider, Decker, Knapp, Kramer, Neubauer, Schwenk. (Motion Lost)
<br />Ordinance #20$8 was given its second reading.
<br />Ordinance #2091 was introduced by Mr. Baker. An Ordinance creating positions
<br />of Recreation Director, ftecreation Instructors., Playground Helpers and-other
<br />recreation personnel and fixing compensation therefor. It was moved and
<br />seconded that the statutory rule be suspended and the Ordina,nce be read
<br />immediately the second and third times and put on its passage.? The affirma- tive vote on said'motion was as follows: Baker, Crider, Decker, Knapp, Kramer,
<br />Neubauer, Schwenk. Thereupon the Ordinance was read the second and third times-
<br />and put upon its passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Baker,
<br />Crider., Decker, Knapp, Kramer, Neubauer, Schwenk.
<br />Moved by Mr. Kramer and seconded by Mr. Schwenk that the Solicitor draw an
<br />Ordinance fixing a price of 050.00 For digging graves in the cemeteries. "Yeas" Baker, Crider, Decker, Knapp, Kramer, Neubauer, Schwank. ,
<br />A communication'was received from the Planning Commission recommending the
<br />8pproval of the Pla,t of Westchester Estates Sub-Division A.
<br />Ordinance #2092 was introduced by Mr. Baker. An Ordinance approving the plat :
<br />of Westchester Estates Sub-Division A. It was moved and seconded that the
<br />statutory rule be suspended and the Ordinance be read immediately the second
<br />and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative:vote on said motion
<br />was as follows: Baker, Crider, Decker, Knapp, Kramer, Neubauer, Schwenk. There-
<br />upon the Ordinance was read the second and third times and put,upon its passage'
<br />and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Baker, Crider, Decker, Knapp,
