<br />Present were Dx. C. B. Lewis, Mayor, L. H. Ha'ter, Harzy M. Crider, R. L. Decker,
<br />william H. Kramer, Ralph G. Neubauer, G. H, Schwenke Fir. Baumgardner and Mr.
<br />Knapp were absent.
<br />In the absence of Mr. Baumgardner, Mr. Neubauer took the chair.
<br />A motion was made^by Mr: Kramer and seconded by Mr.,Baker that the minutes of
<br />November 16,°1954 be a.pproved a3 read, "Yeas" Baker, Crider, Decker, Kramer,
<br />Schwenk. Ths Safety-Service Director stated that Richa.rd Donald.son turned dc*an the appoint-
<br />ment as Firanan at this time, wzu3 that he thorefore appointsd ftiche,rd Limpert .

<br />A motien was made by Mr. Schwen'.s and seconded by Mr. Itrsr.ier that the above appoint-

<br />The Safety-Serv3.ce Director stated that the Boa.rd of Controi ha.d awarded the Canter-
<br />bury Road Sewer to The D. M. Sylvester & P. DiPaola Constructicn Company in the
<br />amount of $302422e75• .
<br />Resolution ;'}2075 was introduaed by Mr. Baker. A Re3oluticn acceptin'Y bid for la.bor
<br />and material for Canterbux-y Road Storm Sewer improvement. It was Moved and seconded
<br />that the above Resolution be adopted as read. "Yeas" Ea.ter, Crider, Decker, Rramer,

<br />A motion was mads by Mr. Baker ac1d seconded by Mr. Schwenk.that the plat of Louis
<br />Lavoie coverin; 21 lots fronting on MeKenzie Road be accepted. "Yeas" Bakerp Crider,
<br />Decker, Krarr.er.. Schwenk. A Z'ublic Hearing was held_ on tha rezonino of all property abutting on both sides of
<br />Lorain Road f5rom the easterlp city boundary westerly to a point 300 feet east of
<br />Clagtze Road, fram a Multiple Residence District to a reta.il business district. Thvre being no objections, Ordinance #205$ was given its third sn3 Pinal reading. A
<br />motion was made by Mr. Baker and seconded by Mr. Crider that the Ordinance be

<br />The Mayor proclaimed December 15th ws "Safe Driving Day."
<br />A letter was read from the Ohio Be11 Telephone Company extending an invitation to
<br />rAembers of Council and their wives to visit their conpany for dinner and a con-
<br />ductod tour of their building on k'ednesday., Januarj 19th.
<br />A motion was made by Mr. Krarser, and beconded by Mr. Schwonk that the bond of S& W
<br />Constrnction Company in the amount of 018,400.00 by the Fidelity and Casualty Go.
<br />Of New York for ths installation of a water main in We11es1Qy Avenue be approved,
<br />-"Yeas" Baker, Crider, Decker, Kramer, Sclrwenk.
<br />A"'motion was made by Mr. Schwenk and seconded by Mr. Baker that the bond of S& Sa
<br />Construction Company in the amount of $27,300,04 by the Fidelity and Casualty Co. '
<br />cf New York for the instllation of a water main in Barton Road, be approved.

<br />A motion was made by Mr. Kramer and seconded by Mr. Schwen:t that the bond of
<br />Oluiated Estateg for the improveinent of Georgette Avenue, by the`Maryland Casualty
