<br />uhe High School Auditorium for the Public Heari-ng on the Zoning Ordinance

<br />The Ma,yor reported that he met with the County Commissioners along with Nayor
<br />Price and Alayor Houk re-arding the amprovement of Dover Center Road, but that they
<br />were unsuccessful in getting the ir?.provement on the 1957 agenda. He also mentioned
<br />that the master tree plan for the city is about conpleted and that Mr. Sca.n].on will
<br />make forma1 presentation to CoL.ncil in the near future. He called attention to
<br />the I'Zidwest trlorkshop meeting to be held at Olmsted Falls (Educational Buildint; of
<br />the Communi+y Church) on March 13, 1957.
<br />The 14ayor al.so stated tha,t he had written F.obert B. Krupansky, State Liquor Director,
<br />? askino for clarification in connecticn tivith the issuance of liquor permits in our
<br />city.
<br />ThE Mayor reported that he had met with the Library Advisory Board i.n reoard to the
<br />possibility of a new libra ?* buildino for North Ol.r.isted. The North Olr.isted Board of
<br />Education has agreed to provide a site on Butternut Ridge Rd. just to the V:est
<br />and to the front of the Hirh School. They cannot sell or give the propertf to
<br />the CoIxnty I,ibrary Board because of legal restrictions, and therefore JUvJeSt a ninety-nine year lease.
