<br />The Mayor appointed Wal.ter E. Lindsay to the Zoning Board af Appeals for a three-year
<br />term. A motion was made by rir. Decker and seconded by Mr. KraTner approving the above

<br />? The Mayor read a communication from Floyd G. Browne and Associates in which they
<br />informed us that they would call on u3 Wednesday, Janv.ary 9., at 1:30 P. M.
<br />The ma,tter of discharging effluent from septic tanks into roadside ditches wa.s dis-
<br />' cussed. The matter was referred to the Committee on Streets, Sidewalks, Sewers
<br />and Ditches. _ The architects eave a report on the two new fire houses.
<br />A motion was made by Mr. Schwenk and seconded by Mr. Neubauer that the dedication
<br />of the Fire Houses be held at the No..2 Station on 5aturday, January 12,'1957 at 1
<br />P.M. "Yeas" Baker., Crider., Decker, Kramer, MacDonald, Neubauer, Schwenk. `
<br />Open House will be held at a later date.
<br />Mr. Ted DeWerth, Service Officer of VFW stated that the Veterans of Foreign Wara
<br />would present a flag to each Fire Station.
<br />Ordinance #2424 was introduced by Mr. Kramer. An Ordinance authorizing payment of
<br />Mora1 Claim. It vras moved and seconded that the statutory ru].e be suspended and
<br />the Ordinance be.read immediately the second and third titnes and put on its passage.
<br />The affirmative vote on said motion was as follows: Baker, Crider, Decker, Kramer,
<br />? MacDonald Neubauer Schwenk. Thereupon the ordinance s,ras read the second ?d third
<br />f' times and?put upon its passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows:

<br />A motion was made by Mr. Decker and seconded by Mr. Schwenk that we renew our
<br />contract with the City of Berea for use of the Police Department Crime Laboratory
<br />ifi 1957. "Yeas" Baker, Crider, Decker., Kramer, MacDonald, Neubauer, Schwenko
<br />: The Buildind Commi.ssioner's report was read showing that permits in the amount of
<br />$626.60 were issued dur3.ng the month of Decembero Estima.ted cost of building was
<br />$421,100.00. Permi.ts for the year 1956 were issued in the amount of $12,731.00
<br />? and estimated cost of buiiding was $9,386,995000.
