• Solids Waste Landfill Site: Bidder must include a copy of the operating license for the landfill site <br /> proposed in the bid. <br /> • NPDES Permit Sites: The bidder must submit with the bid, if offering services as another NPDES <br /> permit holder, a copy of their current NPDES permit.- <br /> • The bidder will include in their bid documentation a list of five (5)client references with names <br /> of current contacts and telephone numbers for whom they have worked within the last three (3) <br /> years and a list identifying any previous or current projects for the City of North Olmsted. <br /> Additional certified Supporting Data In the event that the City shall require additional supporting data <br /> regarding the qualifications of the Bidder in order to determine the qualifications and/or responsibility <br /> of the Bidder, the Bidder may be required to furnish any or all of the following information: <br /> • Evidence that the Bidder is capable of commencing performance as required in the Contract <br /> Documents; <br /> • Evidence, in form and substance satisfactory to City,that Bidder possesses as an ongoing <br /> concern,the managerial and financial capabilities to perform all phases of the work called for in <br /> the Contract Documents, and/or <br /> • Such additional information as will satisfy the City that the bidder is adequately prepared to <br /> fulfill the contract. <br /> Experience and Qualification Requirements-The bidder may satisfy any or all of the experience and <br /> qualification requirements of the paragraph by submitting the experience and qualifications of the <br /> parent organization and any subsidiaries of the parent. <br /> TERMS OF CONTRACT <br /> The Contract shall be for a one (1)year period beginning upon the execution of the Contract and ending <br /> one (1)year thereafter. The initial one (1)year term of this Contract shall automatically be extended for <br /> no more than four(4) successive additional one (1)year terms, unless either party notifies the other <br /> party in writing not less than one hundred twenty(120) days prior to the expiration of the initial one (1) <br /> year term or of any successive one (1)year term, of its intention to terminate this Contract. Any such <br /> written notice shall be served by certified or registered mail, return receipt requested. The City has sole <br /> authority to select the initial period of the Contract. <br /> The Contractor may petition the City annually, or at any time after the first year of the Contract,for unit <br /> price adjustments based on disposal charges resulting from unanticipated revised/new laws, ordinances <br /> or regulations, including changes in disposal fees charged by Local, County, State or Federal <br /> government. However, not by way of limitation,those changes in Contractor's cost of operation such as <br /> changes by the Contractor in disposal sites will not be cause for consideration of unit price adjustments <br /> during the term of the Contract. <br /> Reduction in unit prices charges to the City under this Contract shall be made for decreases in <br /> Contractor's cost of operation due to the decrease in State, District, or Host Community fees for <br /> disposal. Contractor shall immediately notify the City of such decreases. <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE <br /> The Contract will be effective upon the execution of the contract and performance of such contract shall <br /> become effective sixty (60)days after award of Bid. The effective date may be modified by mutual <br /> agreement of the City and Contractor. <br /> NOWWTP 2014 BIOSOLIDS BID SPECIFICATIONS <br />
