Based on the revised scope discussed, I <br /> propose to provide architectural services for the above referenced project. <br /> It is my understanding that the scope will now consist of the following work: <br /> Creation of a second floor fitness area from the current gymnastics space: <br /> • Finishes consisting of flooring,wall finishing/painting,ceilings. <br /> • View windows to the pool area. <br /> • Mirrors. <br /> • Reception desk and lockers. <br /> • Staff office and storage space. <br /> • Schematic design studies to consider additional design options and budgeting for this area <br /> such as opening up the entry stair, providing natural lighting, or other possibilities for this <br /> space that may be developed by the architect during the schematic design phase. (If the <br /> scope is increased to encompass this work after the schematic design phase, the remaining <br /> design services required to include them in the project will be performed under additional <br /> services). <br /> • Mechanical HVAC improvements consisting of a replacing the existing package HVAC unit <br /> and providing new distribution. <br /> • Electrical work consisting of the power for the exercise equipment, convenience power for <br /> the space, lighting,and communications rough-ins where required for the Owner's provider <br /> installation. <br /> • Plumbing consisting of a drinking fountain. <br /> Alterations to the front lobby area and common areas/main floor corridors: <br /> • Removal of the existing entry desk area and walls and redesign/reconfiguration of the entry <br /> desk area. <br /> • Finishes consisting of flooring,wall finishing/painting,ceilings for the entry desk area. <br /> • Finishes consisting of flooring, and wall finishing/painting for the main floor hallway and <br /> lobby.
