Council Minutes of 02-04-2014 <br /> Ordinance 2014-8 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br /> Ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the <br /> City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2014, and declaring an <br /> emergency. <br /> Resolution 2014-9 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br /> Resolution dispensing with the RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into an <br /> agreement with the Senior Transportation Connection of Cuyahoga County to provide <br /> for, among other services, senior citizen transportation services, and declaring an <br /> emergency. <br /> Resolution 2014-10 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br /> Resolution dispensing with the RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a <br /> contract with Cuyahoga County/The Cuyahoga County Engineer for the purpose of <br /> providing inspection services for bridges and culverts. <br /> Resolution 2014-11 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service/Mayor to advertise for bids for the <br /> award of a contract to provide cracksealing on various streets at various locations in the <br /> city, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Service Department, and authorizing <br /> the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the <br /> lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. <br /> Resolution 2014-12 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service/Mayor to advertise for bids for the <br /> award of a contract to provide new pavement markings to various streets at various <br /> locations in the city, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Service Department, <br /> and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for <br /> the same with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. <br /> Resolution 2014-13 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service/Mayor to advertise for bids for the <br /> award of a contract to provide asphalt resurfacing and related repairs upon city streets, as <br /> detailed in the specifications on file in the Service Department, and authorizing the <br /> Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the <br /> lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. <br /> Resolution 2014-14 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding <br /> ("MOU") Agreement with the Cuyahoga County Soil and Water Conservation District <br /> ("SWCD") to provide the City of North Olmsted with Minimum Control Measures 1 & 2 <br /> in accordance with the requirements of National Pollutant Discharge Elimination Systems <br /> ("NPDES") Phase II, and declaring an emergency. <br /> MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br /> Councilman Kearney scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Saturday February 8, <br /> 2014 at 9:00 a.m. to discuss 2014-8.
