Council Minutes of 02-04-2014 Ordinance 2014-8 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2014, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2014-9 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution dispensing with the RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Senior Transportation Connection of Cuyahoga County to provide for, among other services, senior citizen transportation services, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2014-10 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution dispensing with the RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Cuyahoga County/The Cuyahoga County Engineer for the purpose of providing inspection services for bridges and culverts. Resolution 2014-11 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service/Mayor to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide cracksealing on various streets at various locations in the city, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Service Department, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2014-12 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service/Mayor to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide new pavement markings to various streets at various locations in the city, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Service Department, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2014-13 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service/Mayor to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide asphalt resurfacing and related repairs upon city streets, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Service Department, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2014-14 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") Agreement with the Cuyahoga County Soil and Water Conservation District ("SWCD") to provide the City of North Olmsted with Minimum Control Measures 1 & 2 in accordance with the requirements of National Pollutant Discharge Elimination Systems ("NPDES") Phase II, and declaring an emergency. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Councilman Kearney scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Saturday February 8, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. to discuss 2014-8. The Mayor and Directors are asked to attend. 6
