Council Minutes of 11-06-2013 <br /> to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder(s) to purchase said materials, after <br /> Board of Control Approval. <br /> Resolution 2013-93 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br /> purchase of 5,000 tons of stone for various Service Department needs throughout the city <br /> as detailed in the specifications on file, further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a <br /> contract with the lowest and best bidder(s) to purchase said stone, after Board of Control <br /> approval. <br /> Ordinance 2013-95 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br /> Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br /> expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2013, and <br /> declaring an emergency. <br /> Ordinance 2013-96 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br /> Ordinance amending the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted to provide for <br /> the removal of all signage related to the St. Richard school zone on Lorain Road in the <br /> City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Williamson made a <br /> motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review as this <br /> was discussed during this evening's Caucus. St. Richard's is no longer operational as a <br /> school facility and no longer requires school zone designation. The motion was seconded <br /> by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Councilwoman Williamson moved <br /> for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed <br /> unanimously. Ordinance 2013-96 adopted 6-0. <br /> Ordinance 2013-97 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br /> Ordinance amending the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted by providing <br /> for the installation of a "No Left Turn" (R-121-24) sign with supplementary legend "7:00 <br /> A.M. to 8:00 A.M. School Days, Except Buses" at the intersection of Revere Drive and <br /> Butternut Ridge Road for traffic traveling in a northerly direction on Revere Drive and <br /> turning west onto Butternut Ridge Road, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman <br /> Williamson made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal <br /> committee review as this was discussed during this evening's Caucus. This is necessary <br /> to protect pedestrian traffic during early morning hours on school days. The motion was <br /> seconded by Councilman Smith and passed unanimously. Councilwoman Williamson <br /> moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed <br /> unanimously. Ordinance 2013-96 adopted 6-0. <br /> Ordinance 2013-98 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br /> Ordinance amending Section 3 of Ordinance No. 2002-103, as later amended by <br /> Ordinance Nos. 2002-154 and 2008-155, which collectively established fees and charges <br /> for emergency medical services rendered by the City of North Olmsted Fire Department, <br /> in order to increase fees ad charges currently charged, and declaring an emergency. <br /> Resolution 2013-99 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy.
