Council Minutes of 11-19-2013 <br /> Ordinance 2013-102 was introduced and placed in first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br /> Ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the <br /> ``o' City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2014. <br /> Resolution 2013-103 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a renewed agreement with Cuyahoga <br /> County Juvenile Court in connection with the Community Diversion Program to address <br /> juvenile misdemeanor and status offenders in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an <br /> emergency. Councilwoman made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings <br /> and formal committee review as this matter was discussed in Caucus this evening and <br /> needs to be returned to the County by November 25. The motion was seconded by <br /> Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Councilwoman Williamson moved for <br /> adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. <br /> Resolution 2013-103 adopted 7-0. <br /> Resolution 2013-104 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the Cuyahoga County <br /> General Health District for the year 2014, and declaring an emergency. <br /> Resolution 2013-105 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a new and revised agreement with Jeffrey <br /> A. Grusenmeyer & Associates, Inc. in order to provide professional services as the <br /> Building Commissioner of the City of North Olmsted on a part-time basis, and declaring <br /> an emergency. Councilman Schumann made a motion to suspend the rules requiring <br /> `r. three readings and formal committee review as this was discussed in a Finance <br /> Committee meeting and at this evening's Caucus. The motion was seconded by <br /> Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. <br /> Dennis Lambert, 25057 Carey Lane said Mr. Grusenmeyer is an architect. Does he have <br /> the proper license for conducting building inspections? Gareau responded that he does. <br /> Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br /> Kearney and passed unanimously. Resolution 2013-105 adopted 7-0. <br /> MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br /> Councilman Barker scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Tuesday November 26, <br /> 2013 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss 2013-102. The Finance Director and Mayor are asked to <br /> attend. <br /> Councilwoman Williamson scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee <br /> meeting for Tuesday November 26, 2013 at 7:15 p.m. to discuss 2013-98, 2013-104, and <br /> 2013-72. The Finance Director, Mayor, Safety/Service Director and Law Director are <br /> asked to attend. <br /> Councilwoman Jones scheduled a Committee of the Whole for Tuesday December 10, <br /> 2013 at 7:30 p.m. to discuss the WWTP, Springvale, the Recreation Center and <br /> Economic Development. <br /> 6 <br />
