Council Minutes of 11-19-2013 <br /> Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson <br /> and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2013-90 adopted 7-0. <br /> *oi.• <br /> Resolution 2013-91 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Mayor to advertise for bids for diesel fuel and gasoline <br /> products for use by the City of North Olmsted, as per specifications on file, and <br /> authorizing the Mayor, after approval of the Board of Control, to enter into a contract to <br /> purchase such products. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was <br /> seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Resolution 2013-91 adopted <br /> 7-0. <br /> Resolution 2013-92 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br /> purchase of 5,000 tons of asphalt materials for various Service Department needs <br /> throughout the city as detailed in the specifications on file, further authorizing the Mayor <br /> to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder(s) to purchase said materials, after <br /> Board of Control Approval. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was <br /> seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Resolution 2013-92 <br /> adopted 7-0. <br /> Resolution 2013-93 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br /> purchase of 5,000 tons of stone for various Service Department needs throughout the city <br /> as detailed in the specifications on file, further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a <br /> `'err contract with the lowest and best bidder(s) to purchase said stone, after Board of Control <br /> approval. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br /> Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Resolution 2013-93 adopted 7-0. <br /> Ordinance 2013-95 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br /> Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br /> expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2013, and <br /> declaring an emergency, as amended. Councilman Schumann made a motion to suspend <br /> the rule requiring three readings as this was discussed in Caucus and the Finance <br /> Committee meeting. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed <br /> unanimously. Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br /> Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2013-95 adopted 7-0. <br /> Resolution 2013-101 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award <br /> of a contract to install a sewage grinder at the Broxbourne Pump Station, as detailed in <br /> the specifications on file in the Service Department, and, following approval of the Board <br /> of Control, authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder, <br /> and declaring an emergency. Councilman Schumann made a motion to suspend the rule <br /> requiring three readings as this was discussed in an Environmental Control Committee <br /> meeting. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. <br /> Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br /> Noir Kearney and passed unanimously.
