Council Minutes of 12-03-2013 Ordinance 2013-109 was introduced and placed on first reading by Council President Jones. An Ordinance to revise the Codified Ordinances by adopting current replacement Now pages, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2013-110 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into one-year renewal contracts with TAC Computer Inc. in order to provide maintenance and repair services to computer hardware and software in both the North Olmsted Police and Fire Departments, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2013-111 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to request proposals from qualified persons and/or firms to provide professional legal services for the year 2013 and 2014 for labor related matters; and further authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval of the Board of Control, to enter into an agreement with the person and/or firm selected in the RFP process, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review as this was discussed in this evening's Caucus. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2013-111 adopted 6-0. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Councilman Schumann made a motion to excuse the absence of Councilwoman Williamson. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Councilwoman Williamson excused 6-0. Councilman Limpert scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting for Tuesday December 10, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss 2013-72, 2013-98 and 2013-110. The Finance Director, Mayor, and Law Director are asked to attend. Councilman Barker scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Tuesday December 10, 2013 at 9:00 p.m. to discuss 2013-106, 2013-107, 2013-108 and 2013-109. The Finance Director and Mayor are asked to attend. Councilwoman Jones scheduled a Committee of the Whole for Tuesday December 10, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. to discuss the WWTP, Springvale, the Recreation Center and Economic Development. She announced that there will be a special Council meeting scheduled Tuesday December 10, 2013 at 9:20 p.m. With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before Council, President Jones adjourned the Council meeting at 8:55 p.m. 7 ,,,/,/ 7-'''' /--' _ ---..
