He thinks the City of North Olmsted is currently doing things <br /> right. Lambert also mentioned that there is a lot of salt on his street. If they plow Carey <br /> Lane and salt very little, they are always good. So, the city may want to save that money <br /> and use the salt for a primary or secondary road instead of a side street. Councilman <br /> Barker said he was not saying he agrees with regionalism, he just announced that the <br /> NOCCA meeting was about regionalism. Lambert clarified that he did not say that <br /> Councilman Barker agreed with it. He referenced it because Councilman Barker <br /> announced what the NOCCA meeting was about. Mayor Kennedy said he will look into <br /> the salt issue and will pass on his kind words to the Police and Fire Depts. <br /> LEGISLATION <br /> Ordinance 2013-102 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br /> Ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the <br /> City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2014. <br /> Resolution 2013-104 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the Cuyahoga County <br /> General Health District for the year 2014, and declaring an emergency. Councilman <br /> Limpert made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings as this legislation was <br /> discussed in a committee meeting and is due by the end of the month. The motion was <br /> seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Councilman Limpert <br /> fir• moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed <br /> unanimously. Resolution 2013-104 adopted 6-0. <br /> Ordinance 2013-106 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br /> Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br /> expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2013, and <br /> declaring an emergency. <br /> Ordinance 2013-107 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br /> Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $2,150,000 of Notes, in <br /> anticipation of the issuance of Bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of renovating, <br /> remodeling, rehabilitating, furnishing, equipping and otherwise improving buildings and <br /> facilities in the city's Recreation Center Complex and improving and equipping their site, <br /> together with all necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto. Councilman <br /> Barker stated that he is in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. <br /> Ordinance 2013-108 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br /> Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $425,000 of Notes, in <br /> anticipation of the issuance of Bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of improving the <br /> city's storm water drainage system by replacing a culvert in Windsor Drive, together with <br /> work incidental thereto.
