D. Salaries specified in this Ordinance shall be paid by the Director of Finance on a biweekly basis. <br />Section 12: Fair Labor Standards Act ( "FLSA ") /Compensatory ( "Comp ") Time That, upon approval of the <br />Mayor or respective Director, all full -time personnel listed within this Ordinance, except for those holding Elected or <br />Director positions, the Police Chief, the Fire Chief, and personnel determined by the City to be exempt from the <br />overtime provisions of the "FLSA ", will be paid time and one -half their straight time rates of pay for hours worked in <br />excess of forty (40) hours in one work week, unless the Mayor or their respective Director has established and <br />implemented a comp time policy for such personnel that is not in conflict with either the FLSA or Section 161.13 of <br />the Administrative Code.
