Council Minutes of 06 -17 -2014 <br />requiring three readings and formal committee review. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. <br />Dennis Lambert, 25057 Carey Lane said where the money is being transferred from to <br />accomodate these expenses was not covered during Caucus this evening. He suggested to <br />Council to not pass this under emergency. Council should meet with Finance Director <br />Copfer and have a special meeting to pass this Ordinance some time in July. Mayor <br />Kennedy said it's explained in the Ordinance and Copfer gave an explanation to all of <br />Council prior to this evening. <br />Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Schumann and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2014 -48 adopted 7 -0. <br />Resolution 2014 -49 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Western Reserve <br />Area Agency on Aging to provide for 2014 Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program <br />for the North Olmsted Senior Center and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker <br />made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings and formal committee review <br />as this needs to be submitted before the end of June. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. Councilman Barker moved for <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed <br />unanimously. Resolution 2014 -49 adopted 7 -0. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Council President Jones reminded everyone that Council goes on summer recess during <br />the month of July, and no regular Council meetings are scheduled. The next Council <br />meeting is August 5, 2014. She announced that tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. the city will have <br />a follow -up flooding meeting at Springvale. On Friday June 20, 2014, the Movie in the <br />Park will take place. This Sunday June 22, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. is the <br />city's new Summer in the City Program with food and live music. Thursday July 31, <br />2014 at 7:00 p.m., the city's next Master Plan workshop is scheduled to be held at John <br />Knox Church.
