3. An LED shall be cast across the gauge face to increase readability in dark <br />environments. <br />4. The external pressure gauge shall be powered by two (2) AA batteries. <br />5. The external pressure gauge shall be tethered to the carrying bag. <br />Audible Low - Pressure Alarm <br />1. The air - source shall include an audible low - pressure alarm that is pneumatically <br />activated at 25% of cylinder pressure. <br />Universal Air Connection High- Pressure Emergency Airline <br />1. The Universal Air Connection (UAC) high - pressure emergency airline assembly <br />shall be five (5) feet in length. <br />2. The UAC Adapter assembly shall have a highly visible stripe on the quick- charge <br />coupling. <br />3. The quick - charge coupling on the UAC high - pressure emergency airline shall <br />include a rubber protective cap to protect from debris and contaminants. <br />Low - Pressure Airline Hose Assembly <br />1. The low- pressure airline hose assembly shall consist of a pressure reducer, a six <br />(6) foot airline hose, and a low- pressure manifold block. <br />2. The low- pressure manifold block shall include a male airline fitting, a female <br />socket assembly and two (2) additional ports to enable the use of multiple <br />manufacturers' low- pressure quick disconnect fittings. <br />3. The low- pressure airline hose shall be able to accommodate an air pressure of 250 <br />psi. <br />4. The female socket shall be able to accommodate the "male" end of a low - pressure <br />hose coming off the regulator that is attached to the respirator user's full <br />facepiece. <br />5. The low- pressure airline hose assembly shall be able to connect to the SCBA <br />Emergency Breathing Support System (EBSS). <br />RIT Style Full Facepiece <br />1. The RIT Style shall be designed to increase the visibility of the wearer's face to <br />the rescue team. <br />2. The facepiece shall have a positioning tab on the head harness and large d -rings <br />on the bottom head harness adjusting straps to ease donning of the facepiece on a <br />victim by the rescue team. <br />Pressure Regulator <br />1. The pressure regulator shall be able to connect to a RIT Style full facepiece. <br />2. The pressure regulator shall include a three (3) foot low- pressure hose. <br />3. The pressure regulator shall be equipped with an emergency by -pass knob. <br />Cylinder <br />The RIT shall include a 5500 PSI 75 Minute Carbon- Wrapped Cylinder. <br />11 <br />
