CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2014 — 91 <br />BY: Mayor Kennedy <br />AN ORDINANCE DISPENSING WITH A FORMAL RFP PROCESS AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT <br />WITH Go21T GROUP TO PROVIDE, AMONG OTHER THINGS, <br />HELPDESK SUPPORT, NETWORK MONITORING, HARDWARE AND <br />SOFTWARE LICENSING AND SUPPORT, VIRUS RECOVERY AND <br />SYSTEM MONITORING SERVICES FOR THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Go21T Group has been a leading national provider of Information <br />Technology Services and Support for the past 15 years; and <br />WHEREAS, operating out of Westlake, the Go21T Group specializes in the following <br />key core competencies of IT support, IT Outsourcing and IT Consulting: <br />• Network Design and Support; <br />• IMAC — Installations, Moves, Adds & Changes; <br />• Nationwide Deployment; <br />• IT Staffing; <br />• Virtualization & Cloud Computing; <br />• Backup & Disaster Recovery; <br />• Web Design; <br />• Search Engine Marketing; and <br />WHEREAS, the Go21T Group has consulted with the City of North Olmsted since <br />2012 on natters within its core competence and, as a result, it has gained an intimate and <br />unique knowledge of the computer operations within the City of North Olmsted, including the <br />computing infrastructure; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 112.10(b) of the Administrative Code provides that as an <br />exception to the RFP process, the City, upon approval of the Council, need not conduct a <br />formal RFP if the professional services sought are of a continuing nature; and <br />WHEREAS, it is accordingly the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter <br />into an agreement with the Go21T Group for the purpose of providing computer consulting <br />services for the City of North Olmsted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />
