Fair Share Fee: Fee in lieu of dues, deducted from those full -time <br />Employees of the Fire Department who are not <br />members of the Association. <br />Fire Cadet /Paramedic: An individual hired as an employee of the Fire <br />Department who, at the inception of employment, <br />holds certification as a paramedic from the State of <br />Ohio. <br />Fire Chief: The individual having the position of Fire Chief or <br />his designee as appointed from time to time in the <br />Fire Department. <br />Fire Department: The City of North Olmsted, Ohio, Fire Department. <br />Fire Fighter: <br />2" d year A Fire Fighter who has completed one (1) year of <br />service with the City of North Olmsted performing <br />work of this bargaining unit. <br />3 year A Fire Fighter who has completed two (2) years of <br />service with the City of North Olmsted performing <br />work of this bargaining unit. <br />01 year A Fire Fighter who has completed three (3) years of <br />service with the City of North Olmsted performing <br />work of this bargaining unit. <br />5`" year A Fire Fighter who has completed four (4) years of <br />service with the City of North Olmsted performing <br />work of this bargaining unit. <br />Grievance: A complaint, dispute or controversy arising from an <br />alleged misapplication or misinterpretation of the <br />provisions of this Agreement. <br />Grievance Procedure: <br />The procedure outlined in Article VIII of this <br />Agreement. <br />Immediate Family: In the case of illness, Immediate Family shall be <br />parent; parents of spouse; spouse and children of the <br />Employee as well as other relatives living with the <br />Employee if the Employee is acting as parent or <br />guardian. <br />
