Council Minutes of 1 1 -18 -2014 <br />to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review as this is a <br />timing issue. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed <br />unanimously. Councilman Brossard moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Resolution 2014 -83 adopted 6 — 0. <br />Resolution 2014 -84 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety on behalf of the city to apply for an <br />Assistance to Firefighters Grant for the purpose of obtaining funds to acquire a <br />replacement fire apparatus (truck); further authorizing the Mayor, if the application is <br />granted, to enter into an agreement with the appropriate agency to accept said grant <br />funds, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend the <br />rules requiring three readings and formal committee review as this was discussed in this <br />evening's Caucus and is a timing issue. Resolution 2014 -84 <br />adopted 6 — 0. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman Barker scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting for <br />Tuesday November 25, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2014 -80. The <br />Safety /Service Director is asked to attend. <br />Councilman Linlpert scheduled an Environmental Control Committee meeting for <br />Tuesday November 25, 2014 at 7:35 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2014 -82. The <br />Safety /Service Director is asked to attend. <br />Councilman Limpert scheduled an Environmental Control Committee meeting for <br />Tuesday December 9, 2014 at 7:3 p.m. for a Waste Water Treatment Plant update. The <br />WWTP Superintendent is asked to attend. <br />Councilwoman Hemann made a motion to excuse the absence of Councilwoman <br />Williamson. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed <br />unanimously. Councilwoman Williamson excused 6 — 0. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President Jones adjourned the Council meeting at 8:31 p.m. <br />,?
