Council Minutes of 12 -02 -2014 two percent (2 %) each year; and authorizing the option to sell back vacation for 2015 only to assist with the payroll change one week in arrears; and to otherwise restate the compensation rates and descriptions for various administrative and legislative personnel for the years 2015, 2016 and 2017, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2014 -89 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into contracts for the deposit of public monies with the institutions designated by Council as depositories for the active and interim account of the city, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2014 -90 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase for police department use three (3) new Ford Utility Police Interceptors and related equipment, all through the State Purchase Program; and further authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents necessary to effectuate such purchase, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review as this has to be submitted by January. Resolution 2014 -90 adopted 6 -0. Ordinance 2014 -91 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance dispensing with a formal RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Go2IT Group to provide, among other things, helpdesk support, network monitoring, hardware and software licensing and support, virus recovery and system monitoring services for the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Councilman Schumann made a motion to excuse the absence of Councilwoman Williamson. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. Councilwoman Williamson excused 6 — 0. Councilman Kearney scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Tuesday December 9, 2014 at 6:45 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2014 -85, Resolution 2014 -86, Ordinance 2014- 87, Ordinance 2014 -88, Ordinance 2014 -89 and Ordinance 2014 -91. The Finance Director is asked to attend. Councilman Limpert scheduled an Environmental Control Committee meeting for Tuesday December 9, 2014 at 7:35 p.m. to discuss Waste Water Treatment Plant Construction updates. The WWTP Superintendent is asked to attend. Council President Jones announced that there will be a special Council meeting on Tuesday December 9, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. as well as a special Council meeting on Thursday December 18, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before Council, President Jones adjourned the Council meeting at 8:25 p.m. 5
