Council Minutes of 02 -03 -2015 <br />Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the <br />lowest and best bidder. <br />Resolution 2015 -3 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award <br />of a contract to provide new pavement markings to various streets at various locations in <br />the city, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Service Department, and <br />authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the <br />same with the lowest and best bidder. <br />Resolution 2015 -4 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase several new and used lawnmowers and <br />related golf course maintenance equipment from Century Equipment, Krystowski <br />Tractor, and Baker Vehicle Systems at a cost of $240,000.00, through, in part, the State <br />Purchase Program; and further authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents necessary <br />to effectuate such purchase, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Brossard made a <br />motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings as this was discussed in committee. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. <br />Councilman Brossard moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Kearney and passed unanimously. Resolution 2015 -4 adopted 7 — 0. <br />Resolution 2015 -5 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution dispensing with the RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into an <br />agreement with the Senior Transportation Connection of Cuyahoga County to provide <br />for, among other services, senior citizen transportation services, and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Kearney made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three <br />readings as this was discussed in committee. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Schumann and passed unanimously. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Resolution <br />2015 -5 adopted 7 — 0. <br />Resolution 2015 -6 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution expressing consent and cooperation with the State of Ohio, Director of <br />Transportation for the project known as the minor widening of Great Northern Blvd. (SR <br />252) at the IR -480 westbound entrance and exit ramps and resurfacing of Great Northern <br />Blvd. (SR 252) including median work, from IR -480 to Brookpark Road (SR 17) in the <br />City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Williamson made a <br />motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings as this was discussed in committee. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. <br />Councilwoman Williamson moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Resolution 2015 -6 adopted 7 — 0. <br />Resolution 2015 -9 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into two year renewal /extension contracts with <br />TAC Computer, Inc. in order to provide maintenance and repair services to computer <br />hardware and software in both the North Olmsted Police and Fire Departments, and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend the rules <br />requiring three readings and formal committee review as this was discussed during <br />5 <br />
