MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED FEBRUARY 17,2015 Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Barker, Hemann, Kearney, Schumann and Williamson Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Finance Copfer, Clerk of Council Gallo, Director of Safety/Service Glauner and Director of Planning/Development Wenger Absent: Council members Brossard and Limpert Director of Human Resources Farver Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road,North Olmsted, Ohio. Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. The Council meeting minutes of February 3, 2015 were approved as written. The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules this evening: Second Reading—Resolution 2015-10 REPORTS Mayor Kennedy: • No report. Director of Law Gareau: • In the matter of FOP and Brian Bielozer vs. the City of North Olmsted arbitration, the evidence portion of the case has been completed. The arbitrator has requested that briefs be submitted on March 27, 2015. Thereafter, they can expect a ruling from the arbitrator. Director of Finance Copfer: • On Friday, February 13, 2015 the budget information was sent to Council and the Administration. This includes estimated resources, appropriations and expenditure detail. She looks forward to the budget hearings next week. • Financial information from December 2014 was sent to Council as well as the revenue and expenditure detail for the year. She will present the financial review in conjunction with the appropriations next week. Councilwoman Williamson, Chairwoman of the Streets & Transportation Committee: The Streets & Transportation Committee met Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 7:12 p.m. Present were committee members Williamson, Hemann and Limpert; Council President
