Council Minutes of 03-17-2015 <br /> Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Councilman Schumann asked Smith for the meeting time. <br /> Smith replied 7:00 p.m. <br /> LEGISLATION <br /> Resolution 2015-17 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase (1) custom modified, Western Star 4700SF <br /> commercial truck chassis from Valley Cleveland Freightliner, Inc. at a cost of <br /> $87,110.00, together with related snow removal equipment for such truck from Concord <br /> Road Equipment Mfg., Inc. at a cost of $81,094.04, both through the State Purchase <br /> Program; and further authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents necessary to <br /> effectuate such purchase, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Kearney made a <br /> motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review as this <br /> was discussed during caucus. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and <br /> passed unanimously. <br /> Dennis Lambert, 25057 Carey Lane asked if the entire package is about $168,000 for the <br /> entire package? Director Glauner replied yes. Lambert said to Gareau that it was shorter <br /> election terms. Council President Jones reminded Lambert that comments are being <br /> heard regarding Resolution 2015-17. <br /> Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br /> Barker and passed unanimously. Resolution 2015-17 adopted 6-0. <br /> Resolution 2015-18 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase a new Chevrolet Tahoe Sport Utility <br /> Vehicle from Byers Chevrolet at a cost of $28,674.00, through the State Purchase <br /> Program; and further authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents necessary to <br /> effectuate such purchase, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Kearney made a <br /> motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review as this <br /> was discussed during caucus. Councilman Kearney made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three <br /> readings and formal committee review as this was discussed during caucus.
