Council Minutes of 03-17-2015 authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents necessary to effectuate such purchase, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Kearney made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review as this was discussed during caucus. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Councilman Barker commented that all of these Resolutions were discussed during the budget hearing process. Due to the delay and not getting the budget done sooner — nobody's fault; we just took more time and that the State bid ends April 15th — that is the reason why we are suspending all of these and passing them this evening. Resolution 2015-20 adopted 6-0. Resolution 2015-21 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution dispensing with the RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to renew a contract with MB3 Consulting LLC for the purpose of providing economic development consulting services to the city, and declaring an emergency. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Councilwoman Hemann scheduled an Intra-Governmental Relations Committee meeting for Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. to interview the Mayor's appointment to the Planning& Design Commission. Councilman Kearney scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 7:10 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2015-21. The Planning/Development Director is asked to attend. Councilman Limpert made a motion to excuse the absence of Councilman Brossard. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. Councilman Brossard's absence excused 6-0.
