MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br /> OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br /> APRIL 7,2015 <br /> Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Barker, Brossard, Hemann, <br /> Limpert, Schumann and Williamson <br /> Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Clerk of Council Gallo, Director of Safety/Service <br /> Glauner, Director of Planning/Development Wenger and Director of <br /> Human Resources Farver <br /> Absent: Council Member Kearney <br /> Director of Law Gareau <br /> Director of Finance Copfer <br /> Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, <br /> 5200 Dover Center Road,North Olmsted, Ohio. <br /> Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of <br /> Allegiance. <br /> The Council meeting minutes of March 17, 2015 were approved as written. <br /> The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules <br /> this evening: First Reading—Resolution 2015-28. <br /> REPORTS <br /> Mayor Kennedy: <br /> • He swore in Shaun Kibler as a North Olmsted Fire Fighter. Fire Fighter Kibler <br /> introduced his family to the audience. Chief Schepp thanked Council and the <br /> Administration for their support of the North Olmsted Fire Department. <br /> • The Fish Fry season at Springvale has concluded, and it was a huge success. This <br /> year, they grossed $31,000 for fish fry sales which is $9,000 over what has been <br /> grossed in the past. <br /> • The North Olmsted Eggstravaganza was very successful. Council President Jones <br /> was in attendance with her family. <br /> • The Bicentennial Committee is working with Bob Evans to raise funds for North <br /> Olmsted's Bicentennial. Come out to Bob Evans for breakfast, lunch or dinner <br /> tomorrow and the restaurant will donate 15% of its sales when you present a <br /> Bicentennial flyer to your server. Flyers are available at <br /> www.celebratenortholmsted.com or contact Planning Director Wenger. <br /> • Congratulations to Fire Captain Mike Ciarrone, who will be retiring Monday <br /> morning. <br /> • Springvale Golf Course is open to the public. It looks to be in great shape. <br /> Director of Law Gareau: <br /> • No report in his absence <br />
