Council Minutes of 04-21-2015 <br /> Ordinance 2015-25 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br /> Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the County of <br /> Cuyahoga to provide for resurfacing of Bradley Road from White Oak Lane to the <br /> western city limits, together with additional cooperative terms and conditions, and <br /> declaring an emergency. <br /> Ordinance 2015-26 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br /> Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the County of <br /> Cuyahoga to provide for resurfacing of Mastick Road from Columbia Road to the eastern <br /> city limits, together with additional cooperative terms and conditions, and declaring an <br /> emergency. <br /> Resolution 2015-27 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a two year contract with Lexipol, LLC in <br /> order to provide for department policy manuals and daily training bulletins for the North <br /> Olmsted Police Department, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker made a <br /> motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings as this was discussed in committee <br /> and so that policies are implemented as soon as possible. The motion was seconded by <br /> Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. Councilman Barker moved for <br /> adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed <br /> unanimously. Resolution 2015-27 adopted 7-0. <br /> Ordinance 2015-29 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br /> Ordinance amending the rates of compensation for various administrative and legislative <br /> personnel for the years 2015, 2016 and 2017 by establishing support personnel under the <br /> Division of Aging (Section 5C, 6), Correction Officers part-time, and support personnel <br /> under the Division of Police (Section 8B 5 and 6); and to amend the established rates for <br /> support personnel under the Division of Public Works and Division of Fleet; and to <br /> otherwise restate, with various technical corrections, the compensation rates and <br /> descriptions for various administrative and legislative personnel for the years 2015, 2016 <br /> and 2017, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Kearney made a motion to suspend <br /> the rule requiring three readings as this was discussed in committee. The motion was <br /> seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Councilman Kearney moved <br /> for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. <br /> Ordinance 2015-29 adopted 7-0. <br /> Ordinance 2015-30 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br /> Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br /> expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2015, and <br /> declaring an emergency, as amended. Councilman Kearney made a motion to suspend <br /> the rule requiring three readings as this was discussed in committee. The motion was <br /> seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Councilman Kearney moved <br /> for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. <br /> Ordinance 2015-30 adopted 7-0. <br /> Resolution 2015-31 introduced by Councilwoman Hemann was given its second reading. <br /> A Resolution proclaiming April as Fair Housing Month in the City of North Olmsted, <br /> Ohio, and declaring an emergency.
