An <br /> Ordinance amending Sections 1701.19 of Chapter 1701 (Fire Code) of the Fire <br /> Prevention Code in order to update standards for private fire service mains, and declaring <br /> an emergency. Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend the rules regarding three <br /> readings and formal committee review as this was discussed during this evening's <br /> Caucus. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. <br /> Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br /> Schumann and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2015-32 adopted 7-0. <br /> Resolution 2015-33 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Mad Bomber Fireworks <br /> Productions to provide a fireworks display for the 2015 North Olmsted Fourth of July <br /> Bicentennial Celebration, and declaring an emergency. <br /> Resolution 2015-34 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br /> Resolution approving of and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Collective Bargaining <br /> Agreement with the Ohio Patrolman's Benevolent Association, for the Dispatchers, for <br /> the period January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2017, and declaring an emergency. <br /> Resolution 2015-35 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Verizon Wireless <br /> providing for cellular phone and data service for various City of North Olmsted <br /> electronic devices, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Kearney made a motion to <br /> suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review as this was <br /> discussed during this evening's Caucus. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br /> Barker. Roll Call: Kearney, yes; Barker, yes; Williamson, yes; Brossard, yes; <br /> Schumann, abstain; Limpert, yes with comment. He thanked the Mayor and said it's <br /> worth the effort to review these contracts as the city can save dimes that may get <br /> overlooked. Roll Call continued: Hemann, yes.
