MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br /> OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br /> JUNE 2,2015 <br /> Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Barker, Hemann, Kearney, <br /> Limped, Schumann and Williamson <br /> Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Finance Copfer, <br /> Clerk of Council Gallo, Director of Safety/Service Glauner, Director of <br /> Planning and Development Wenger and Director of Human Resources <br /> Farver <br /> Absent: Council Member Brossard <br /> Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, <br /> 5200 Dover Center Road,North Olmsted, Ohio. <br /> Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of <br /> Allegiance. <br /> The Council meeting minutes of May 19, 2015 were approved as written. <br /> The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules <br /> this evening: Second Reading—Ordinance 2015-40. <br /> REPORTS <br /> Mayor Kennedy: <br /> • The Honorary Officials for All Scouts Day 2015 were announced. Mayor <br /> Kennedy presented Mr. Scouting with his Proclamation, and Council President <br /> Jones presented Mrs. Scouting with her Proclamation (attached). <br /> • North Olmsted Community Scholarship Race — Bicentennial Edition is this <br /> Saturday June 6, 2015 at 8:30 a.m. at North Olmsted Park. Register at <br /> www.hermescleveland.com or on race day. <br /> • The Ice Show was another successful event with 1,800 people in attendance. <br /> Skaters and volunteers made it a great weekend, which was also very <br /> informational as the show had a Bicentennial theme. <br /> • May Springvale Golf Course revenue finished at over $15 1,790, almost $17,000 <br /> over the projected $135,000. Year-to-date golf course revenue is $236,526, <br /> which is currently $32,000 ahead of last year's year-to-date revenue. The <br /> Ballroom finished at $73,000 for the month of May. Year-to-date revenue is <br /> $198,000 which is $30,000 more than what was projected. <br /> • CarrieAnne Rosemark has resigned as the Assistant Superintendent of the Waste <br /> Water Treatment Plant to accept the Superintendent position at the Rocky River <br /> treatment plant. He wished her well in her new job. <br />
