Council Minutes of 06-02-2015 file a petition for nomination of a candidate for the office of Council at-Large, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2015-45 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance providing for the submission of an amendment to the electors of the City of North Olmsted to Article IV, Section 2 of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted to amend the residency requirement for City Council Ward Members, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2015-46 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance providing for the submission of an amendment to the electors of the City of North Olmsted to Article VII, Sections 1 and 4 of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted to eliminate the Board of Building Code Appeals (Art. VII, Section 1) and Board of Zoning Appeals (Art. VII, Section 4) and to create a new Article VII, Section 1 by merging the two boards into a new "Building and Zoning Board of Appeals", and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2015-47 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance providing for the submission of an amendment to the electors of the City of North Olmsted to Article VII, Section 2 of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted to entirely repeal Section 2(e) of Article VII and create a new and revised Section 2(e) of Article VII, requiring all ordinances proposing to zone or rezone a parcel of land to Multiple Residence (Apartment) only be voted upon and approved by the electors of the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2015-48 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance providing for the submission of an amendment to the electors of the City of North Olmsted to Article VII, Section 3 of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted for the purpose of eliminating the Parks and Recreation Commission, and declaring an emergency. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Councilman Kearney scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2015-43. The Finance Director is asked to attend. Councilman Barker scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting for Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 7:15 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2015-42. The Law Director and Safety/Service Director are asked to attend. Council President Jones scheduled a Committee of the Whole meeting for Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. to discuss Charter Amendments — Ordinances 2015-44 through 2015-48. The Law Director and Chairman of the Charter Review Commission are asked to attend. 5
