Council Minutes of 09-15-2015 <br /> Resolution 2015-79 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a renewed agreement with Cuyahoga <br /> County Juvenile Court in connection with the Community Diversion Program to address <br /> juvenile misdemeanor and status offenders in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an <br /> emergency. <br /> Resolution 2015-80 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to request qualifications for <br /> professional engineering services in order to prepare plans and specifications for the <br /> Bradley Pump Station rehabilitation; further authorizing the Mayor, following approval <br /> of the Board of Control, to enter into an agreement with the contractor selected in the <br /> RFQ process, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Limpert made a motion to <br /> suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review. The motion was <br /> seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Councilman Limpert moved <br /> for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed <br /> unanimously. Resolution 2015-80 adopted 6-0. <br /> MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br /> Councilman Barker scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting for <br /> Tuesday, September, 22, 2015 at 7:20 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2015-79. The Human <br /> Resources Director is asked to attend. <br /> Council President Jones scheduled a Committee of the Whole for Tuesday, September <br /> 22, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2014-64 (deer management legislation). The <br /> Mayor, Law Director, Safety/Service Director and a representative from ODNR are asked <br /> to attend. <br /> Council President Jones announced a special Council meeting for Tuesday, September <br /> 29, 2015 at 6:45 p.m. for the purpose of placing Bond Ordinances on first reading. <br /> Council President Jones scheduled a Committee of the Whole for Tuesday, September <br /> 29, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. for Council professional development. The guest will be Dr. <br /> Keller. <br /> Councilman Barker made a motion to excuse the absence of Councilman Schumann.
