MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br /> OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br /> OCTOBER 6,2015 <br /> Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Barker, Brossard, Hemann, <br /> Kearney, Limpert, Schumann and Williamson <br /> Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Finance Copfer, <br /> Clerk of Council Gallo, Director of Safety/Service Glauner, Director of <br /> Planning and Development Wenger and Director of Human Resources <br /> Farver <br /> Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, <br /> 5200 Dover Center Road,North Olmsted, Ohio. <br /> Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of <br /> Allegiance. <br /> The Council meeting minutes of September 15, 2015 and special Council meeting <br /> minutes of September 29, 2015 were approved as written. <br /> The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules <br /> this evening: Second Reading — Ordinances 2015-81 through 2015-88; First Reading — <br /> Ordinance 2015-89, Resolution 2015-90, Resolution 2015-91 & Resolution 2015-94. <br /> REPORTS <br /> Mayor Kennedy: <br /> • He swore in Blake Ignasiak, a new North Olmsted Firefighter. Firefighter <br /> Ignasiak introduced members of his family that were in attendance. He thanked <br /> his family for their support. Chief Schepp thanked Council and the <br /> Administration for their support of the North Olmsted Fire Dept. <br /> Director of Law Gareau: <br /> • No report. <br /> Director of Finance Copfer: <br /> • She, Human Resourced Director Farver and IT consultants met with the top two <br /> copier proposal companies and will be making a recommendation to the Board of <br /> Control next week. <br /> • Last week they hosted a demonstration by Aladtec, Inc. for all front end users of <br /> the scheduling, time and attendance system that was selected by a committee <br /> consisting of herself, the Safety Service Director, Human Resource Director, Fire <br /> Chief, Police Chief and Assistant Finance Director. After much research and four <br /> demonstrations, legislation is being introduced tonight. The larger group <br /> consisted of most divisions and they asked specific questions and were pleased <br /> with what the selected vendor and system had to offer. This legislation on first <br />
