MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br /> OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br /> NOVEMBER 17, 2015 <br /> Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Barker, Brossard, Hemann, <br /> Limpert, Schumann and Williamson <br /> Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Finance Copfer, <br /> Clerk of Council Gallo, Director of Safety/Service Glauner, Director of <br /> Planning and Development Wenger and Director of Human Resources <br /> Farver <br /> Absent: Council Member Kearney <br /> Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, <br /> 5200 Dover Center Road,North Olmsted, Ohio. <br /> Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of <br /> Allegiance. <br /> The Council meeting minutes of November 4, 2015 were approved as written. <br /> The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules <br /> this evening: Second Reading — Resolution 2015-101 and Ordinance 2015-103; First <br /> Reading— Ordinance 2015-108, Resolution 2015-110 and Ordinance 2015-111 <br /> REPORTS <br /> Mayor Kennedy: <br /> • The North Olmsted Landmarks Commission will dedicate the Richard H. Knight - <br /> William Biddulph House as a North Olmsted Landmark on Saturday, November <br /> 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at 4302 Porter Road. Come learn about the origins of the <br /> home, and shuttle service leaves from the City Hall parking lot at 10:45 a.m. <br /> • With the recently implemented Simple Recycling program, residents can recycle <br /> unwanted clothing, shoes, accessories and other household items. This program is <br /> in addition to the current recycling program and is free of charge to North <br /> Olmsted residents. <br /> • The Recreation Center 40th birthday party was a success. Almost 700 people <br /> attended. <br /> • He had the privilege of attending the Dover Players' production of Township 6- <br /> Range 15 this past weekend. This upcoming weekend is the last weekend of the <br /> performance. <br /> • He attended the International Food Cook-Off at Springvale, which was a huge <br /> success. The Taste of Excellence Fundraiser for the North Olmsted City Schools <br />
