Council Minutes of 12-15-2015 <br /> Resolution 2015-115 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase a Kubota Excavator Model KX057 and <br /> CAM Superline Tilt Trailer at a cost of approximately $84,000.00, all through the State <br /> Purchase Program; and further authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents necessary <br /> to effectuate such purchase, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Kearney made a <br /> motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review. The <br /> motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Councilman <br /> Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and <br /> passed unanimously. Resolution 2015-115 adopted 7-0. <br /> Resolution 2015-116 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the City of Westlake to <br /> provide for the improvement of Walter Road from Beech Lane to the Corporation Line, <br /> together with additional cooperative terms and conditions. <br /> Director of Law Gareau explained that there will be no emergency clause or suspension <br /> of the rule requiring three readings on Resolution 2015-116 per the Charter regarding the <br /> joint exercise of powers, in this case between North Olmsted and Westlake. <br /> MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br /> Councilwoman Williamson scheduled a Streets & Transportation Committee meeting for <br /> Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2015-116.
