MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br /> OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br /> FEBRUARY 16, 2016 <br /> Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Barker, Brossard, Hemann, <br /> Kearney, Limpert, Schumann and Williamson <br /> Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Law Gareau, Clerk of Council Gallo, <br /> Director of Safety & Service Glauner, Director of Planning & <br /> Development Wenger and Director of Human Resources Farver <br /> Absent: Director of Finance Copfer <br /> • Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, <br /> 5200 Dover Center Road,North Olmsted, Ohio. <br /> Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of <br /> Allegiance. <br /> The Council meeting minutes of February 2, 2016 were approved as written. <br /> The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules <br /> this evening: Second Reading—Resolution 2016-8 & Resolution 2016-9. <br /> REPORTS <br /> Mayor Kennedy: <br /> • JoAnn DePolo introduced artist, Mike Rozack, who presented his donated works <br /> of art (entitled Celebrate 200) to the City of North Olmsted. He thanked the <br /> Mayor and Council for inviting him to present his donation. He thanked JoAnn <br /> DePolo as well. <br /> • The State of the City address will be Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at <br /> Springvale Ballroom. <br /> • The Fish Frys started last week. The first Fish Fry earned $1,852 in tips. He <br /> thanked St. Brendan's Church and their volunteers for working the event. <br /> • He congratulated Director Copfer on the birth of her granddaughter. <br /> Director of Law Gareau: <br /> • No report. <br /> Director of Finance Copfer: <br /> • No report. <br />
