Council Minutes of 02-16-2016 Resolution 2016-6 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide cracksealing on various streets at various locations in the city, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Service Department, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. Resolution 2016-7 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase a new Ford Utility Interceptor Truck from Statewide Ford at a cost of$31,073.00, through the State Purchase Program; and further authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents necessary to effectuate such purchase. Councilman Kearney made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings as this was discussed in Finance Committee. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. An Ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2016, and declaring an emergency, as amended.
