Council Minutes of 02-16-2016 <br /> Resolution 2016-6 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award <br /> of a contract to provide cracksealing on various streets at various locations in the city, as <br /> detailed in the specifications on file in the Service Department, and authorizing the <br /> Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the <br /> lowest and best bidder. <br /> Resolution 2016-7 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase a new Ford Utility Interceptor Truck from <br /> Statewide Ford at a cost of$31,073.00, through the State Purchase Program; and further <br /> authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents necessary to effectuate such purchase. <br /> Councilman Kearney made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings as this <br /> was discussed in Finance Committee. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker <br /> and passed unanimously. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was <br /> seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Resolution 2016-8 adopted 7- <br /> 0. <br /> Resolution 2016-9 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase a new GMC Sierra Pickup Truck from Bob <br /> Ross Buick at a cost of $36,980.50 through the State Purchase Program; and further <br /> authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents necessary to effectuate such purchase. <br /> Councilman Kearney made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings as this <br /> was discussed in Finance Committee. An <br /> Ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into a two-year <br /> agreement with Imperial Vending Company in order to provide for vending machine <br /> services at the North Olmsted Recreation Center. <br /> Ordinance 2016-11 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br /> Ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the <br /> City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2016, and declaring an <br /> emergency, as amended. <br /> Resolution 2016-12 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase a new Ford F-550 Truck and related <br /> equipment from Middletown Ford at a cost of $62,899.69, through the State Purchase <br /> 6 <br />
