Council Minutes of 02-02-2016 Resolution 2016-5 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide concrete replacement and related repairs upon city streets, as detailed in the specifications on file with the Engineer, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. Resolution 2016-6 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide cracksealing on various streets at various locations in the city, as • detailed in the specifications on file in the Service Department, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. Resolution 2016-7 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide new pavement markings to various streets at various locations in the city, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Service Department, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. Resolution 2016-8 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase a new Ford Utility Interceptor Truck from Statewide Ford at a cost of$31,073.00, through the State Purchase Program; and further authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents necessary to effectuate such purchase. Resolution 2016-9 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase a new GMC Sierra Pickup Truck from Bob Ross Buick at a cost of $36,980.50 through the State Purchase Program; and further authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents necessary to effectuate such purchase. Ordinance 2016-10 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into a two-year agreement with Imperial Vending Company in order to provide for vending machine services at the North Olmsted Recreation Center. Ordinance 2016-11 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2016, and declaring an emergency. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Councilman Schumann scheduled a Building, Zoning & Development Committee meeting for Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss a Self Storage Project. The Planning & Development Director is asked to attend. 6
