Council Minutes of 03-01-2016 Resolution 2016-13 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase a new Ford F-150 Pick-up from Middletown Ford at a cost of $25,544.99, through the State Purchase Program; and further authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents necessary to effectuate such purchase. Councilman Kearney made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings as this was discussed in Finance Committee. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Resolution 2016-14 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase a new GMC Sierra 4x4 Pick-up from Buick GMC of North Olmsted at a cost of $27,281.00, through the State Purchase Program; and further authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents necessary to effectuate such purchase, as amended. Ordinance 2016-15 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance amending various sections of Chapter 911, "Sewers Generally" and Chapter 917 "Industrial Pretreatment" of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted titled, "Streets, Utilities and Public Services Code" in order to conform to the requirements of the Environmental Protection Agency, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2016-16 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase a new Ford F-350 Truck and related equipment from Middletown Ford at a cost of $40,925.90, through the State Purchase Program; and further authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents necessary to effectuate such purchase. Resolution 2016-17 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the purchase of bulk treated rock salt for ice and snow removal operations as detailed in specifications on file and further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder, after Board of Control approval. Ordinance 2016-18 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance repealing Chapter 765 entitled "Retail Business Regulations" and establishing Chapter 733 of the Business Regulation Code entitled "Tent Sales & Special Events" to provide regulations for such events in the City of North Olmsted. Ordinance 2016-19 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance establishing Chapter 735 of the Business Regulation Code entitled "Food Trucks"to provide regulations for mobile food vendors in the City of North Olmsted. Ordinance 2016-20 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance dispensing with the RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with John Patrick Picard Architect, Inc., to provide architectural services for 6
