167.06 DIVISION OF AGING <br />There is hereby created a Division of Aging within the Department of Human Resources. <br />The Division of Aging shall be headed by, and there is hereby created, the position of Senior <br />Center Administrator. The Administrator shall be a full-time employee appointed by the <br />Director of Human Resources. <br />(a) Duties. The Administrator shall have charge of the day to day operations of the <br />Senior Center and shall supervise the Nutrition Aides, the Title III -C Program Manager, the <br />Outreach Coordinator and the Activities Coordinator. The Administrator shall also provide such <br />other services and perform such other duties consistent with the position as may be required by <br />the Director of Human Resources. <br />(b) Employees. The staffing of the Division of Aging is hereby established and is <br />reflected in the organizational chart for the Department of Human Resources contained in <br />Section 167.99(c), which, as it pertains to this division only, is incorporated herein as if fully <br />rewritten. The Mayor shall establish the compensation of all employees of the Division within <br />the salary ranges established by City Council, to the extent that such compensation is not <br />otherwise established by contract, or federal, state or local law. <br />167.07 DIVISION OF YOUTH AND FAMILY SERVICES <br />There is hereby created a Division of Youth and Family Services within the Department <br />of Human Resources. The Division of Youth and Family Services shall be headed by, and there <br />is hereby created, the position of Youth and Family Services Administrator. The Administrator <br />shall be a full-time employee appointed by the Director of Human Resources. <br />The Youth and Family Services Administrator shall be required to have a bachelor's <br />degree in an appropriate field of study (e.g., psychology, social work, counseling, human <br />services) from an accredited university or college, and shall further be required to hold and <br />maintain a license from the State of Ohio as a social worker or professional counselor. <br />(a) Duties. The Youth and Family Services Administrator shall provide direct <br />services to youth and families including counseling, crisis intervention and coordination of <br />services; shall act as liaison with the Police Department and courts relative to juvenile justice <br />prevention services and diversion; shall coordinate services and programs with the North <br />Olmsted schools, local parochial schools, and other youth cooperatives in the North Olmsted <br />community; and shall perform such other duties consistent with his or her position as assigned by <br />the Director of Human Resources. <br />(b) Employees. The staffing of the Division of Community and Youth Services is <br />hereby established and is reflected in the organizational chart for the Department of Human <br />Resources contained in Section 167.99(d), which, as it pertains to this division only, is <br />incorporated herein as if fully rewritten.
