2.03 FABRICATION: <br />A. All structural framing members shall be factory fabricated as required for <br />proper fit without field modifications. <br />B. Roof panels shall have a hot dipped coating of AZ -55 aluminum -zinc alloy. <br />C. Wall panels shall have a G90 hot dipped galvanized coating. <br />D. Trim shall be fabricated to prevent ponding water. Trim shall be free of waves, <br />ripples and other surface irregularities. <br />2.04 FINISHES: <br />A. STEEL STRUCTURE: All elements of steel structure shall be cleaned of all <br />foreign matter and loose mill scale and coated with a one (1) mil coating of red <br />oxide primer conforming to the requirements of Specification SSPC 15-68T. <br />B. ROOF PANELS: Base metal shall be AZ55 aluminum - zinc alloy coated steel. <br />Panels shall be coated with an epoxy primer and a Long Life exterior coat. <br />C. WALL PANELS: Base metal shall be G90 hot dipped galvanized steel. Panels <br />shall be coated with an epoxy primer and a Long Life exterior coat. <br />2.05 DESIGN CRITERIA: <br />A. Pre-engineered metal building shall be designed for all loads and loading <br />conditions set forth in the Ohio State Building Code except where exceeded <br />below. No reductions in live load shall be considered. <br />B. Structures shall be designed for a uniform collateral load of five (5) pounds per <br />square foot. <br />3.01 EXAMINATION AND PREPARATION OF SURFACES: <br />A. Before commencing pre-engineered metal building erection, the Contractor shall <br />check all governing measurements and elevations of all construction upon which <br />proper erection is dependent. Any discrepancies shall be corrected before erection <br />is started. Discrepancies shall be brought to the attention of the Engineer in <br />writing. <br />B. Check all anchor bolts for proper placement and projection prior to <br />commencing pre-engineered metal building erection. Report any discrepancies to <br />the Engineer in writing. <br />2012.01 <br />
