Council Minutes of 05-03-2016 Service to adjust user charges for the use of the municipal sanitary sewer system, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2016-52 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance amending Section 109.06 of Chapter One of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted titled "Administrative Code" for the purpose of (1) removing reference to abolished boards and commissions; and (2) reassigning duties previously undertaken by the abolished position of Clerk of Commissions; and (3) updating employee titles, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2016-53 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution declaring the necessity and intention of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to appropriate a fee simple interest in 5.439 acres of property, identified as a part of Permanent Parcel Nos. 232-23-021 and 232-23-022, and located on vacant land owned by the North Olmsted Board of Education, for the public purpose of constructing storm sewer management and drainage systems, including sewers, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review as the city wants to move forward with this as soon as possible. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Dennis Lambert, 25057 Carey Lane asked if this is the property over by Pine. Council President Jones answered yes. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Councilman Barker thanked the Administration, the Law Department and Council for their support on this issue. Resolution 2016-53 adopted 7-0. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Councilman Schumann scheduled a BZD Committee meeting for Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss the Millennium Place proposal. The Planning & Development Director is asked to attend. Councilman Kearney scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss 2016-51 and 2016-52. The Finance Director, Safety & Service Director and Planning & Development Director are asked to attend.
