Council Minutes of 05-03-2016 <br /> Service to adjust user charges for the use of the municipal sanitary sewer system, and <br /> declaring an emergency. <br /> Ordinance 2016-52 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br /> Ordinance amending Section 109.06 of Chapter One of the Codified Ordinances of the <br /> City of North Olmsted titled "Administrative Code" for the purpose of (1) removing <br /> reference to abolished boards and commissions; and (2) reassigning duties previously <br /> undertaken by the abolished position of Clerk of Commissions; and (3) updating <br /> employee titles, and declaring an emergency. <br /> Resolution 2016-53 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br /> Resolution declaring the necessity and intention of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to <br /> appropriate a fee simple interest in 5.439 acres of property, identified as a part of <br /> Permanent Parcel Nos. 232-23-021 and 232-23-022, and located on vacant land owned by <br /> the North Olmsted Board of Education, for the public purpose of constructing storm <br /> sewer management and drainage systems, including sewers, and declaring an emergency. <br /> Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and <br /> formal committee review as the city wants to move forward with this as soon as possible. <br /> The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. <br /> Dennis Lambert, 25057 Carey Lane asked if this is the property over by Pine. Council <br /> President Jones answered yes. <br /> Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br /> Kearney and passed unanimously. Councilman Barker thanked the Administration, the <br /> Law Department and Council for their support on this issue. Resolution 2016-53 adopted <br /> 7-0. <br /> MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br /> Councilman Schumann scheduled a BZD Committee meeting for Tuesday, May 10, 2016 <br /> at 7:00 p.m. to discuss the Millennium Place proposal. The Planning & Development <br /> Director is asked to attend. <br /> Councilman Kearney scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Tuesday, May 17, <br /> 2016 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss 2016-51 and 2016-52. The Finance Director, Safety & <br /> Service Director and Planning & Development Director are asked to attend. <br /> Council President Jones announced a Public Hearing for Ordinance 2016-36 scheduled <br /> for Tuesday May 24, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. <br /> With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br /> Council, President Jones adjourned the Council meeting at approximately 8:40 p.m.„IL <br /> 6 <br /> arie Gallo, Clerk of Council Nicole Dailey Jones, P s d t of Council <br /> 6 <br />
