On June 13, I received a call from another electric power broker, I'll call Company Y. The caller <br /> wanted to confirm that I want to switch my electric utility provider to Company Y. The caller claimed that <br /> I did not respond to the letter(US Postal Service). I did not received any letter from Company Y. <br /> 10. I repeated steps 2 (calling Company Y) and 3. <br /> PROBLEM WITH THE PROCESS: <br /> 1. As in item 10, any power broker company would claim sending notification. <br /> True or not, the burden of proof is not on the broker company. <br /> 2. I and other citizens of North Olmsted routinely IGNORE &THROW AWAY JUNK MAILS. <br /> 3. I and other citizens of North Olmsted may not be home during the period when the said mail arrived <br /> for whatever reason. <br /> 4. I am a senior citizen. while still mentally alert, several senior citizens may not be able to keep-up <br /> with this RACKET. <br /> 5. For those whose service provider is switch, with or without their knowledge and approval, who will <br /> these customer call in case of power outages or emergency related to Electric Power? <br /> REQUEST TO NORTH OLMSTED CITY COUNCIL: <br /> Please PROTECT the citizens of NORTH OLMSTED from this unfair process by: <br /> 1. Requiring the "Electric Power Brokers" to used Registered Mail with Receipt Signatures. <br /> 2. Require the "Electric Power Broker" to provide a SELF ADDRESSED, POSTAGE PAID, DELIVERY <br /> RECEIPT on each letter they send. <br /> 3.
