Council Minutes of 06-21-2016 <br /> Resolution 2016-68 introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of Mayor Kennedy <br /> was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to <br /> advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide construction services for the <br /> Bradley Road Pump Station Rehabilitation Project, as detailed in the specifications on <br /> file with the City Engineer, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board <br /> of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. <br /> Ordinance 2016-69 introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of Mayor Kennedy <br /> was given its second reading. An Ordinance repealing Chapter 751 of the North Olmsted <br /> Codified Ordinances, entitled "Game Rooms" which established to license and regulate <br /> amusement arcades. <br /> Resolution 2016-70 introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of Mayor Kennedy <br /> was given its second reading. A Resolution approving the adoption of a modified <br /> Investment Policy, and further authorizing the Mayor and Director of Finance to enter <br /> into an agreement with Investment Advisors in compliance with said policy, following <br /> approval by the Board of Control, and declaring an emergency, as amended. Councilman <br /> Kearney suspended the rule requiring three readings as this was discussed in Finance <br /> Committee twice. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed <br /> unanimously. Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br /> Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Resolution 2016-70 adopted 5-0. <br /> Resolution 2016-72 introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of Mayor Kennedy <br /> was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to <br /> advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide construction services for the Pine <br /> Basin Drainage Project, as detailed in the specifications on file with the City Engineer, <br /> and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for <br /> the same with the lowest and best bidder. <br /> Ordinance 2016-74 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br /> Ordinance amending Section 505.16 entitled "Vicious and Dangerous Animals" of <br /> Chapter Five of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted in order to add <br /> definitions for and regulation of the specific "Cane Corso"breed as a vicious animal. <br /> Council Clerk Gallo referenced the minutes of June 7, 2016. She asked that the record <br /> reflect that Resolution 2016-57 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy on behalf of himself <br /> and Councilwoman Williamson. <br /> Councilman Kearney made a motion to adjourn into Executive Session to discuss <br /> pending litigation. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed <br /> unanimously.
